How to get to The Pointe

The Pointe is conveniently located in Crystal Lake, Illinois, a diverse, friendly community in McHenry County – one of the fastest-growing areas in Illinois. Just an hour away from the Chicago metropolitan area by car or train, Crystal Lake is easily accessible from major highways, including U.S. Highway 14 (Northwest Highway) and State Highways 31 and 176, as well as the METRA commuter train system from Chicago. Transportation is available from the train station to The Pointe, just five minutes away.

The Pointe is located at the Marketplace, 5650 Northwest Highway, which is home to Target, Linens 'n Things, Kohl’s, Barnes & Noble and other stores. Shops, restaurants, and hotels are nearby. The Pointe offers convenient free parking.

Driving Directions: Crystal Lake is located about 45 miles northwest of Chicago on U.S. Highway 14 (Northwest Highway). The Pointe is located between Sam’s Club & Target.

Coming from the east: Starting from the intersection of Highways 14 & 31, go west about 0.9 miles on Hwy. 14 to Federal Drive, which is the entrance to Target. Turn right onto Federal Drive and The Pointe is visible between Sam's and Target.

Coming from the west: Starting from the intersection of Highways 14 & 176, go east about 2.8 miles on Hwy. 14 to entrance of Sam’s Club, which is the second stop light after Main Street. Turn left at the Sam's entrance stop light and continue to the right of Sam's until The Pointe comes into view between Sam's and Target.
