The Foundation uses only interest earnings generated from contributions received. This income is applied to the annual budget of The Pointe for operational and capital expenses as necessary. Every investor receives an annual expense report about Endowment Fund activities.

Endowment Tree
In appreciation and recognition of the many people who contribute to The Pointe Endowment Fund, the Immanuel Foundation has installed an “Endowment Tree” that graces one wall of The Pointe’s foyer. The tree is a gift from Immanuel members Ed and Ann Meier in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary. Sanford Werfel, whose sculptures adorn churches, colleges and hospitals across the country, designed this beautiful work of art.

The Endowment Tree features stones at the trunk’s base and gold, silver and bronze leaves. The stones and leaves represent different contribution levels:

Gold Leaf.........................................$3,000
Silver Leaf........................................$1,500
Bronze Leaf.........................................$600

Contributors may choose to give either a one-time gift or a pledged donation to be paid in one to three years. When the entire pledge amount has been received, the leaf or stone will be engraved according to the contributor’s wishes and displayed on the Endowment Tree. Contributions may be made by individuals or families, on behalf of children or other family members, in memory of loved ones or to mark special occasions.
