Pointe Communion is intended for those who have difficulty worshiping on weekends at the Church because of stairs or other obstacles; all facilities at The Pointe are on one level and in close proximity.  Service begins at 11:30 and participants are served communion at their seats, eliminating the necessity to maneuver between rows and up the aisle.  Following the worship service, luncheon is served at tables set up behind the church service seating. Worship and luncheon generally end by 1:30 p.m. Reservations are required and may be made by calling the church office.

Pointe Communion services are held on the second Wednesday of February, April, June, August, October and December. 

Anyone is welcome to serve on one of the two teams of volunteers, who prepare and serve the refreshments. Teams alternate, with both teams serving the December lunch. There is also sometimes a need for people willing to provide transportation.

Time commitment: 2 to 2-1/2 hours on the given day, serving refreshments you have helped prepare.
