What is a YOUTH?
Wonder what teens are all about? Are they a totally different animal than when you were a teen? Probably not, they are probably facing the same challenges you did as a teenager. Teens present us with a great opportunity to touch a life with the love of Jesus Christ. We have over 100 teenagers here every Sunday morning involved in either confirmation, teaching Sunday school, or other activities. We are about to open the T.H.E.A.T.E.R. which will provide different opportunities for our teens to gather, share fellowship, learn, and care for one another and those outside of our congregation. Please consider taking some time and working with our teens. We have several opportunities, most of which are low time commitments. Trust me, you will never regret the time you spend with a teenager. Parenting Your Teen
Do you wonder if others struggle with the same “stuff” you do in parenting your teen? The answer is probably. We are looking to get together a group on parenting your teen to look at suggestions for making the process easier and to simply care for and support each other. If you are interested in this group, please contact Ginny to discuss when would be a good time to meet. We are considering a summer time frame but it is open to discussion.
