To know and share the love of Jesus Christ
 |
Values Statement
We value the gift of God’s saving grace through faith in
Jesus Christ.
We value God’s Word, worship, praise and prayer.
We value sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We value Christian Education.
We value each and every one of God’s children.
We value the Christian family.
We value Christian fellowship.
Vision Statement
With Christ as our leader, we will reach out to people near and
far so that they may embrace the gift of God’s salvation
through Jesus Christ.
Immanuel’s members and guests will grow in faith and commitment
through worship, praise, prayer and Christian fellowship.
Empowered by the love of Christ, we will grow in our compassion and service,
caring for the physical and spiritual needs of those around us.
Immanuel will continue to provide outstanding, Christ-centered education for
children and adults.
“We give glory to God through our pursuit of this vision He has for our
congregation.”
The mission statement is a clear, concise, memorable
and compelling statement of the fundamental purpose for our existence
as a congregation. It answers the question, “Why are we
here?”
The values statement is a proclamation of those
timeless guiding principles that we hold most dear. It answers
the question, “What is important
to us as God’s children?” Values are not “created,”
or “set,” they are “discovered,” because
they already exist.
Together, the mission and values statements define the enduring
character of our congregation that never changes, no matter what.
The vision statement sets forth in words God’s
intention to improve upon that which exists today. It is a reflection
of what God wants as He imparts His will to His people. It is
not something dreamed up by mere humans.
